A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,

What a busy year we are experiencing.  Our Bryant Broncos have supported many community service projects this year.  Recently the Student Council sponsored relief for Haiti effort raised over $2600.  The Physical Education Departments’ Jump Rope for Heart initiative raised over $26,000 for the American Heart Association.  Five out of the last seven years, Bryant Elementary has been the top fundraiser in the Tampa Bay Area for this cause.  We hope this makes number six!  Thank you for caring!

Mary E. Bryant Elementary is also a partner with the U.S. Census Bureau.  The Census is coming!  Our grade 2-5 students received school theme shirts (Adventures in Learning about Diverse Cultures) with the U.S. Census logo on the back.  Kindergarten and grade 1 students received census coloring books.  These items were provided by the Florida West Coast Census team and coordinated by teacher, Nancy Fink.  Please know that the 2010 Census is easy, important and safe.  When the questionnaire arrives, fill it out accurately and return it immediately!

  • FCAT testing begins March 9, followed by SAT-10 on March 22.  Please note the signs which have been posted for months reminding you of the days and times our campus is closed to visitors and volunteers until noon.

  • lassroom group picture day is March 23.  Students should wear the dress uniform, which is a navy blue collared shirt with tan slacks, shorts or skirt.
